Position
We are looking for a great machine operator to join our production team. The industrial process machine operator operates a multifunction machine to perform different tasks in the transformation of plastic material into flexible packaging.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the settings of the industrial process machine during start-up according to the production parameters.
- Operate the industrial process machine using control panels for the transformation of plastic film into safe packaging, according to various processes.
- Note production information, such as quantity, weight, size, date, and different types of products packaged. Monitor indicators, computer readings and control screens to verify prescribed processing conditions and adjust or modify variables as needed.
- Manufacture packaging in accordance with quality standards.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Use appropriate equipment and follow the procedures and work methods established by the company to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience as an operator in a manufacturing company or equivalent experience
- Highschool diploma, near completion or equivalent
- Ease in the use of computer systems
- Ability to read purchase orders and attention to detail
- Compliance with deadlines and instructions
